Founded in 2018, Mission Spaceflight is committed to next-generation space exploration. Focused on providing training opportunities that enable flight education and concern research on Earth, the settlement of Mars, and eventually, exploration beyond our solar system. Course participants log several hours pressurized with air and breathing oxygen in Pacific Spaceflight IVA spacesuits, learning how to work comfortably at suit pressures. Students also train for a variety of off-nominal scenarios, including water landing and capsule egress. Learning complies with Code of Federal Regulations standards (14 CFR 460.51 spaceflight participant) for such emergency situations.

The course covers further introductory topics such as pressure suit history, flight physiology and response to emergency spaceflight situations.

About Earth and Space Exploration

Earth and Space Exploration LLC was founded with values of bringing together technical communities to further space exploration. By utilizing strategic partnerships such as the Astronaut Analog Training Center, Smith Aerospace Garments, Protean GIST solutions, Teaching Science and Technology Inc, and the University of Western Colorado, the training possibilities for future spaceflight participants and professionals has become exponential. Earth and Space Exploration LLC has received awards and funding for its work on spacesuit skydiving and other projects taking human exploration to new heights. The organization also operates as ESED International (Earth and Space Exploration Divers International), providing scuba certifications focused on astronaut-style diving, including but not limited to introductory diving, underwater pressure suit operations and underwater 3D photogrammetry.
